Andrew Gold's stag/footie at mine
Yo homepeople (see what I've done?). Another jam packed week. I have been mostly:
- Travelling to Bratislava in Slovakia for a fun stag do in honour of that man Andrew Gold.
- Having some pals round to the flat to watch the Mighty Pool game.
Lots of pics this week so will limit the blurb. And I've taken the day off rather than the afternoon btw, in case you were wondering why I've ignored your Friday banter emails/instructions for tonight.
Da boys, who were a lovely bunch actually- Travelling to Bratislava in Slovakia for a fun stag do in honour of that man Andrew Gold.

and made the weekend most agreeable.
Brati was full of Eastern European stunners. It this instance
it was little Russell who managed to get lucky.
The boys concentrate hard at the beginning of the
race in order to get the best possible start.

*** THIS IS NOT DANIELS ***
It's a lookalike who was sitting behind me on the plane. I reckon
many people caught unwanted glimpses of his particulars though.
A common problem with this particular outfit so my
reporters in Budapest tell me.
I also had a select bunch round to the palace in order to watch the big game. Preparation for such an event is very important...
ensure the fridge was looking splendid...
...ad picked up a few last minute snacks on the way home
from work (no, it's a rubbish bought quiche regular readers).
The gang pretending to be enthralled at the game,
at my request for photograph purposes.
And then.........bang, bang, bang, bang and success! The Pool took their rightful place in the European Cup final on 23 May and knocked that gobshite's £450m team out of the best competition in the world once again. A time for picture messages, which really do tell a thousand words.
Whooooooooo!!!Wa, wa, waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.
And in other news:
The wish-it-would-happen quote of the week:
“At a minimum, I hope that Scholes slips on a banana skin in the tunnel, and boots Ronaldo in the face, fracturing his skull. His weakened skull will then no longer be able to contain his massive ego, and the resultant football-diva explosion will decimate both squads, and the entire San Siro.” *

***FOOTBALL BANTER ALERT***
Admittedly, it is difficult to get motivated for a competition that doesn’t include the cream of Europe. And good luck in the CL third place play off at Wembley.

now that's banter
qualifying round:
maccabi haifa 3-1/1-1
groups:
psv eidnhoven 0-0/2-0
galatasary 3-2/2-3
bordeaux 1-0/3-0
then:
barcelona 2-0/0-1
psv (again)3-0/1-0
chelsea 1-0/0-1
hmm, psv, gala, bordeaux and haifa, the cream of europe indeed - bear in mind you had 10 games against them and only won 7. very poor. at least you didn't go through on a coin toss like previous years or get a bye to the latter stages.
in fact, your champions league record this year:
P14 W9 D2 L3 F22 A9
In a league situation, that would translate to 29 points out of a potential 42.
That's poor. 'Cream of Europe'? How can any tam with a record like that be crowned kings of europe? The mind boggles. FORZA MILAN
Generally, a team can claim to be the best if they are the only team not to get knocked out. Espec when they knock out the holders and the most expensively assembled team in world football, both over two legs, on the way.
I'm bored of football. Let's talk FWA instead. We should get some T-shirts printed for da gang. I've got a design in mind. Watch this space.
And I found out my mate Stoney is going to Glasto last night. V pleased. Not sure if you know him but he's a fine gentleman. Maybe I can have the T-shirt ready to wear at Glasto.
