And now.................you will die.

Me and Trants hit Bet365 last night in order to show a few internet people a thing or two about poker. The, admittedly spontaneous, group game didn't quite materialize (see my comment in the first screenshot below boys) but me and PT played a spot of holdem and then some Pot Limit Omaha Hi Lo. Lowlight of evening was crashing and burning at the hands of PT in the Omaha sit and go. Bummer. A quick back of the envelope calculation* reveals that I got done on a coin toss (well ish).

Omaha Hi/Low 8-or-better: 1086008 enumerated boards
cards scoop HIwin HIlos HItie LOwin LOlos LOtie EV
Kc Qc 5c 2c 460546 460546 625462 0 391824 0 0 0.545
3c Jd Jh 3h 3 63492 625462 460546 0 0 0 0 0.455

Where are you all then?

Beginning of the end #1 - the big raise.

Beginning of the end #2 - the big erased. Terminated by Tranter.

* Ok, I got it from pokertips.org.

Lyric is from one of my fave songs ever.

Bad luck, old chap. At least you went down in a blaze of glory. Sorry I missed the sit-down, though I haven't played internet poker for about a year - so 2005.

Onto the lyrics - I know this one - should I spoil the 'fun' for the others by revealing it? Yes. It's 'I Spy' from Different Class by Pulp. A brilliant and imho rather sinister song, sandwiched in between the dancefloor-filling Common People and Disco 2000. Quality.

I refer to Millhouse's previous observation.

I can't believe I was that much of a favourite pre-flop. Two overcards vs two pair?

*Ahem* I mean yes, bad luck old chap. Clearly I had the hand under control at all times, but better luck next time, eh?

Btw thanks for the TJ Cloutier book - with this, I'll be unstoppable!

You other gents missed out - table banter in these tournies is good, especially when the 3 other people on the table have no idea what you're talking about. Seems to intimidate them a bit.
