Not amused.
Just got in from squash to be confronted with the following on BBC News:
"Equestrian star Zara Phillips was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year with an victory in a public vote."
The world had gone madder.
Am not doing much tonight - am home alone. Will play a spot of bet365 in the event of anyone fancying a bit. Let me know.

Ok. Let's not play poker then. Instead I leave you with a name that my bro just mentioned to be on the phone when informing me of his latest bad beat story (20th out of 150 and missing out on big air miles - awwwwwww becod*).

Didn't watch the sports personality thing (most obvious statement i've ever made) but it sums up the year of British sport.
I don't mind too much her winning it - she's euro and world champion (only 3rd person to ever do that I think).
But what's wrong with Phil Taylor getting the nod? The greatest player ever in his sport and he's never recognised. Granted it's a 'sport' played by fat old drunks, but so was snooker and for me, darts can be much more exciting and equally as skillful.
And Theo Walcott, young sports personality...for what exactly? Playing about 4 games for Arsenal and keeping look out while Jamie Carragher's brother was humping John Terry's mum?
